Welcome to Liberty University Planned Giving
In August 1971, my father and founder of Liberty University, Dr. Jerry Falwell, explained his vision for Liberty to a small crowd of reporters in Lynchburg, Virginia. In this press conference, he used words like "unashamedly Christian"... "academic excellence"... "regional academic accreditation"... "NCAA Division I athletic programs"... "commitment to an inerrant Bible"... "no compromise of theological integrity"... "no immorality, alcohol or drugs allowed"... and "since it is Christian, it will be better."
Over the years, God has blessed us with many wonderful giving partners who have "caught the vision" of Liberty University and, through their investments in Liberty, have paved the way for the University's growth and global impact. The vision is still very much alive. All is well at Liberty and we welcome the opportunity to add you to the ranks of these special friends.
Jerry Falwell, Jr. Chancellor of Liberty University
